After going to Swaziland, Africa for the last 4 years on 2 week mission trips, I am now going to move there permanently as a missionary. I will be leaving on August 2, 2009 and will be living and working at El Shaddai Orphanage in the mountains of northwest Swaziland. The couple that started the orphanage just over 10 years ago have dedicated their lives to the orphaned children of Swaziland. You can see their story in 4 parts on You-Tube if you enter El Shaddai Ministries in the search box. They have become like brother and sister to me since I first met them and stayed at the orphanage. There are 60 children at the orphanage which is equipped to hold 50. They have recently started to build a 2nd orphanage which will hold another 50 children. Their vision is for 2000 children! After I leave in August and get settled into my new life, I will build a house for myself on their property. This way if I ever leave, the house will then be donated back to the orphanage. I am planning on returning to the USA approximately every 6 months to visit family (I have 5 children) and to raise money for the orphanage and to their many ongoing projects.
Unfortunately I can't carry a tune when I sing, but the children in Africa sing like angels. Ten girls from El Shaddai Orphanage have just had a CD released which you can purchase at www.all4jesusfoundation.com.
I ask for all of your prayers on my new journey in life.
GOD IS AWESOME!!
